The Witch of Wanchai by David Harris LangMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
The main characters in this book are a cannibalistic maid eating witch, two friends looking to survive, and a group of cops which spread over many countries. They all intertwine in a deep plot which in the end brings you right back where you started. I found this book to be highly boring and drawn out. The main bad guy was taken out by another bad guy instead of the good guys. It was a classic example of everyone dies except for one or two of the main characters. Was this book horrible? No some parts were digestible. I finished reading it and would recommend it if you are from the countries mentioned within, like international police dramas, or enjoy reading heavy stories with deep plots which you have to read the entire book to figure out.
